Frangipani

Frangipani by Lush is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women and men. Frangipani was launched in 2019. The nose behind this fragrance is Emma Dick. From the brand: "The legacy (or myth) of the Marquis of Frangipani: a delicate dusting of sweet almond used to fragrance gloves. Across the ocean, a flower bearing a similar scent had not yet been discovered, but would eventually inherit the Frangipani name. It’s thought that the origins of the word frangipani came from an Italian noble family, a 17th-century marquis who invented a plumeria-scented perfume. Frangi “breaking" plus “bread," a reference to the family’s distribution of bread in time of famine. The perfume is a formidable but soft floral that recalls the tradition of leather tanning for the preparation and eventual perfuming of gloves for nobles.
